Zone One: The Santa’s Grotto
The grotto can form the centre of the event without having to occupy the entire venue.

Using a dedicated grotto also allows organisers to position the Santa experience separately from busier activity areas. This can be useful at school fairs, corporate family events, shopping centres and public Christmas programmes where several things are happening at once.
Zone Two: Father Christmas
A grotto may provide the setting, but somebody still needs to occupy Santa’s chair.
Our Father Christmas Hire service provides a professional Santa who holds a DBS check. He can attend grotto sessions, school Christmas events, corporate family days, retail venues and organised public events.
How Santa interacts with visitors can reflect the format of the booking. A busy event may require shorter meet-and-greet sessions, while smaller bookings can allow more individual time. Storytelling and interactive performances can also be arranged where agreed beforehand.

Christmas photographs do not have to be limited to the moment children meet Santa.

Zone Four: Christmas Activities
Where the venue and event format are suitable, additional inflatables can give children something else to enjoy before or after their grotto visit.

Indoor inflatable hire requires adequate clear floor space, ceiling height, access and a suitable 240V mains electricity supply. Outdoor installations require flat, clear ground and remain subject to weather conditions. Inflatables cannot be operated when winds or gusts exceed 24mph.
Putting the Zones Together
There is no requirement to use every type of Christmas equipment at the same event. A smaller booking might consist of one grotto and Santa, while a larger event could divide the venue into several areas.
For example, visitors might arrive at a Christmas activity area, move on to the grotto to meet Father Christmas and then visit a separate sleigh or photo feature. The precise arrangement depends on the available space, visitor numbers, access and the programme you have planned.

Santa’s Grotto Hire in North and South Wales
Our service is available for suitable venues in different parts of Wales, including Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Wrexham and Bangor, as well as other towns and communities.
For events further from our Romford base, transport forms an important part of the quotation. Standard delivery is calculated at £1.50 per mile each way from Romford, Essex.
Parking for our van is required for the duration of the event and parking costs are payable by the customer. Applicable tolls and other travel costs are additional. Standard delivery assumes ground-floor, front-door access, while restricted access, stairs and lengthy unloading routes may result in additional requirements.
