Cancellation policy
In the unlikely event that you need to cancel your booking the following cancellation policy applies...
We have a limited time each year to hire out our Christmas items and dates can get booked up very quickly with high demand for any dates in December...
For this reason once your booking has been made and you have received confirmation we ask that you pay to confirm your booking once invoiced and prior to the event...
Once your payment has been received your booking is 100% confirmed...and we will be there.
You can cancel in writing (via email at any time upto 1 month prior to your event date) if cancelling up to 1month in advance we will refund you - a 10% cancellation fee...
If you cancel between one month and 2 weeks prior to your event we will refund you - a 50% cancellation fee...
If you cancel within 2 weeks of your booking date unfortunately no refund can be given as we will be very unlikely to be able to rehire the equipment out in such a short time...
staff and vehicles will have been arranged by this time and the items will have been unavailable for anyone else to hire...
If however we are able to hire the equipment saved for your event we will refund you the difference in booking values.
Cancellation by us...
We may cancel any event without refund for the following reasons...
No safe loading / unloading area
Access seemed to far or unsafe
it is important you are honest about the loading bay location and the access and location to the setup area when booking.
Reasons beyond our control..for example..
Traffic, Road closures, vehicle breakdowns or collisions...staff no shows etc...
whilst we make every effort to get to your venue and setup on time... occasionally reasons beyond our control prevent us from doing so...no refunds will be given for us not turning up or for being late for reasons beyond our control...we will however retain any balance paid for a future available date.
Adverse weather conditions...
In the event of poor weather I.e heavy wind or rain that would mean the items are unsafe to use we will explore any option to setup indoors...
if we deem there to be a suitable indoor space for a full grotto package or a scene setter we will setup there...
We understand this may not be ideal at some venues so can offer the following
25% refund if we have arrived.
providing we haven’t loaded and set off yet 50% refund. 24hours notice.
or
We can postpone the event providing you give more than 24hours notice...to another available date before Christmas or for use the following Christmas.
We have tried to be fair to all parties with our cancellation policy and urge you to be sure our service is right for you before you book and pay as it is unlikely any refund will be made.
