About Santa's Grotto Hire
Christmas is a serious business around here. Fortunately, it is also a lot of fun.
Santa's Grotto Hire specialises in supplying festive attractions, grottos, inflatables, props, packages and Father Christmas himself for Christmas events throughout mainland UK. We work with schools, councils, local authorities, businesses, shopping centres, event organisers and private clients who want to turn an ordinary space into somewhere that looks decidedly more Christmassy.
From one carefully chosen attraction to a much larger festive setup, our aim is simple: provide the equipment and services you need, deliver them professionally and help you put together a Christmas event that works for your venue and your guests.
Grottos Are a Pretty Big Part of What We Do
The clue is in the name. Our Santa's Grotto Hire options are at the heart of our Christmas range.
That includes the Inflatable Santa's Grotto and Large Inflatable Santa's Grotto, giving event organisers an alternative to building a temporary grotto from scratch. They're suitable for many different festive settings and can provide a clear focal point where children and families can meet Father Christmas.
If you want more than the grotto itself, our Christmas Packages bring several festive elements together. The Silver Grotto Package and Gold Grotto Package are available for organisers looking for a more complete setup.
And Then There's Santa...
A grotto without Father Christmas would be rather like December without mince pies.
Our Father Christmas Hire service provides a Santa for festive events, with the performance adapted to suit the setting. That might mean meet-and-greet interactions at a busy public event, more personal visits within a grotto, or storytelling and interactive performances where these have been agreed as part of the booking.
Santa can be booked for schools, corporate family events, retail environments, council celebrations and other suitable Christmas occasions. Our Santa holds a DBS check, while parents, guardians and event organisers remain responsible for supervising children.
More Than Santa's Grottos
Sometimes you need a grotto. Sometimes you need a giant sleigh. Sometimes Christmas simply calls for an inflatable.
Our Christmas Event Hire collection includes Christmas Inflatables, Christmas Bouncy Castles, festive props and dedicated Christmas Photo Opportunities.
Options include the Christmas Bouncy Castle, Frozen Pastel Blue Bouncy Castle, Christmas Snow Globe Hire and Mega Sleigh. These can be hired individually or used alongside other festive equipment to create a larger event layout.
We also provide Christmas Prop Hire for organisers who need additional themed pieces to help complete their setup.

Our team travels throughout mainland UK to deliver festive equipment and support Christmas events.
We regularly cover London and surrounding counties, with dedicated services for Santa’s grotto hire London, Santas Grotto Hire Essex, Santas Grotto Hire Hertfordshire, Santas Grotto Hire Kent and Santas Grotto Hire Surrey.
Our coverage extends much further too, including Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, Suffolk, Greater Manchester, the West Midlands and Wales.
Delivery charges depend on location and booking requirements. Our standard delivery calculation is £1.50 per mile each way from Romford, Essex, with additional considerations for matters such as parking, tolls, congestion zones, restricted access and longer or multi-day hires.
A Team That Works Beyond Christmas
Although Christmas is our speciality here, the wider team works throughout the year, covering hundreds of events including weddings, birthdays, corporate events and family fun days.
That year-round event experience comes with us when Christmas season arrives. We understand that festive equipment still needs the practical side handled properly: suitable access, safe installation, electrical requirements, timings, collection arrangements and clear communication with the organiser.
For inflatables, a responsible adult aged 18 or over must supervise the equipment while it is in use, and outdoor inflatables must not be used when wind gusts exceed 24mph.
